Teaching really doesn't end when the bell rings. That's something that Mrs. Nap has always said and lived by in her decades long teaching career.
Today was a prime example of that.
First she was up at 6am kissing her husband good bye.
Then she was working with these students in the inner city for hours, calling parents and guardians about grades.
Then she had a special meeting with one of the students, Treyy. Treyy was having some difficulty in class. His grades have been dropping. So Mrs. Nap had to tutor him personally. @That took sum time.
Now she's finally ready to go home. But Treyy's older brother-who she called before he came over about his grades-just got here.
The last thing Mrs. Nap has to do today is explain to him the situation with Treyy.
That shouldn't take too long.
